Kelly Hamlin is just the best. She had an open house 3 to 4 times a month. She attended all but 2 open houses. She was always there when our house was shown; she was always positive with us and interested parties. She had warm cookies, when showing our house and at open houses. She had great ideas for those who may have wanted to remodel, had plans, cost, and contractor recommendations. She always followed through with interested parties. She is a real designer, moving furniture, etc. in such a way that showed our house off. At the start, she took pictures of each room and circled what needed to be sold or removed. She had so much expertise as a realtor, we were thrilled to comply. She went over our plans for our new home and improved them for us. She constantly advertised our house in out-of-state markets; our buyer saw our house online in the Philippines. Kelly is an agent for Sotheby, which gave us access to advertising internationally, but nevertheless we received service a local agent would give. She is sharp; she understands the market and people, is patient and serviceable to both buyer and seller, representing the seller, but always listening and responsive to both. Because of this, she can help the seller better sell their home. She didn’t sell other homes in our neighborhood that may have competed with our price range. She didn’t push us to drop the price of our house but wanted to find the right buyer for our home. After every showing or open house, we were emailed responses of those who had come through our home and other helpful information. She kept us constantly informed of what was happening; who liked our house; where the most interest was shown from out-of-state, and other important statistics. She met with us once a month, usually taking us to lunch. Upon finding our delightful buyer, she worked meticulously to make sure every detail was carried out; she never quit, tired, or gave up at any point in the process. We never once doubted she would sell our house, even though we sold in a depressed market.
